John Heesh
I am a dental practitioner (retired). Currently, I am occupied with writing activities and work as a catechist at Erina High School and Terrigal High School -- both located on the New South Wales Central Coast (about one and a half-hour's drive North of Sydney).
I served as Hon. Secretary of the Australian Lonergan Workshop between 1983 and 1999.
My special interest is the reinstatement of Theology as "Queen of the Sciences." I am interested in the connections and interrelationships between Theology, Philosophy and Science and the approach to the solution of some common issues.
My other interests include: (i) Observing "modern madness" and comparing it with similar occurrences in history. (ii) The development of the historic process under the thrust of megalopolis and the possibilities of Emergent Schematic Probability as Cosmology.
With my wife of forty-five years, I live in Terrigal, a seaside town on the Central Coast of New South Wales. I also have the usual interests of a father and grandfather of a family of professionals.
